We have a full day preschool program. There is also an option for a half day praogram. The school day consists of curriculum from the LiteraSci Science Program as well as Stories Of God's Love Religion Program. Our preschool day has many literacy activities, hands on play activities, and individualized instruction. In our classroom we love to sing and dance! There are many different opportunities for each child to learn through Multiple Intelligence activities. We attend mass on a normal basis and enjoy field trips. We have a classroom tree where we will all grow with God's love this year. We will fill the tree with family photos to show our support for each other.
We welcome you to our preschool program! It will be an exciting year to grow closer to God and learn more about our faith. This will be a great year filled with meeting new friends and exploring the world around us.

All About Mrs. Cheramie
Mrs. Cheramie grew up in Rochester, NY. She graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2004 magna cum laude in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education. She then attended St. John Fisher College where she received her Masters Degree in 2007 magna cum laude in Students With Disabilities(Birth to Grade 6 Special Education).
Mrs. Cheramie has been teaching 13 years! Since 2004 Mrs. Cheramie has taught grades Pre-K through 5th grade. She has also been an AIS instructor.
Mrs. Cheramie has been a judge as well as a head judge for Odyssey of the Mind since 2004. Her memberships include NYSAEYC, RALC, and the Child Care Council. Mrs. Cheramie was also a Crayola representative.
Playing and learning with her preschool class is fun! She loves being a member of the St. Mary's School family! Her daily goal is to provide an age appropriate preschool curriculum in a faith centered environment.
Mrs. Cheramie brings a unique wealth of knowledge to the classroom. She has traveled to Europe. Visiting several states (Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Virginia) and countries has given her a deeper understanding of history and culture.
Mrs. Cheramie has a variety of interests. She loves to exercise, read, write, draw, sing, spend time with family, socialize with friends, watch movies, study nature, and travel. Mrs. Cheramie loves the color purple, butterflies and her angel collection. She earned degrees in interior design, home staging, and floral design.
Mrs. Cheramie has a young daughter and is very busy with the important responsibility of being a mother and a wife.
Her foundation as a Catholic school teacher has been strengthened by her many wonderful years as a Catholic school student. She feels blessed to be able to share her faith with her students. This school year will be a fun learning experience for all!

Each day we learn more about God. We say prayers for family and friends to stay well. Bible stories are read during class and everyone is focused on treating others the way that God wants.
